PMGO 2026 Season 2: 32 teams in Lahore on October 20–25, with points for the PMGC in Istanbul

On October 13, 2026, the publisher announced the dates and format of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 2 in Lahore, Pakistan.
What’s new
32 teams from nine regional finals across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas play for a $500,000 prize pool from October 20 to 25.
Group Stage on October 20–21 (two groups of 16, six matches each), Survival Stage on October 22, Grand Finals on October 24–25, on Rondo, Erangel and Miramar.
New this season: ties for qualification places are settled by a best-of-three 4v4 Team Deathmatch on Warehouse, and the Grand Finals can go to a Match 13.
The winner earns 150 points toward the 2026 PUBG Mobile Global Championship, which the publisher confirms for Istanbul, Türkiye, later this year.

Thailand wins the Asian Games gold in PUBG Mobile, ahead of China and Pakistan

On September 29, 2026, the publisher announced the result of the PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version finals at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
What’s new
Thailand took the gold medal — according to the publisher, Thailand’s first podium in PUBG Mobile esports.
China won silver and Pakistan bronze; Pakistan finished five points ahead of Indonesia and Vietnam.
12 teams played two days of battle royale on Erangel and Miramar.
The finals were part of the esports programme of the 20th Asian Games.

PUBG Mobile 4.6: the Midnight Hunters vampire mode, Season 32 and Royale Pass A21

PUBG Mobile’s Version 4.6 update is available from September 8 to November 10, 2026, according to the publisher’s press release of September 8.
What’s new
Midnight Hunters, a limited-time mode: players fight vampires and PvE enemies (Bloodwalkers, the Nightbat, the Vampire Elder); on September weekends eliminated players could return as vampires (“Bloodline Awakening”).
Season 32 started on September 12; the new Royale Pass A21 includes a custom-colour outfit and an upgradable weapon.
Collaborations: Lincoln (from September 10), One-Punch Man (from September 20), B.Duck (from October 2) and Alan Walker, whose track “FATE” is free in the game until November 10.
Classic mode: changes to the ACE32 and the 7.62 mm rifles (AKM, M762, Honey Badger, Mk47, Groza) and a four-seat Inflatable Boat; Ocean Odyssey returns on Erangel from September 30; Metro Royale Chapter 34.
