Clash of Clans lowers Gem prices for Ore: Starry Ore from 35 to 20 Gems

What’s new

• New prices: Shiny Ore 1 Gem → 0.5 Gems, Glowy Ore 5 → 3 Gems, Starry Ore 35 → 20 Gems.
• Supercell says the Gem cost of maxing a piece of Epic Equipment comes down by roughly half.
• The Trader has used the new prices since July; the Medal shop follows in October’s Medal Event, and the next full update makes them standard everywhere in the game.
• More changes to the Ore economy are promised later in October.

What it means for account value

Maxed Hero Equipment becomes cheaper to reach, so it may become more common on high Town Hall accounts. Town Hall level and hero progress remain the main value drivers in our research.
